The PTFE (Teflon) tapes lie over the welding wire and prevent the hot polymer from adhering to the welding jaws during the welding process. The anti-stick effect of the Teflon begins to degrade at approximately 1,500 welds. To maintain the quality of the welds, both strips must be changed. The exchange can easily be done by yourself. Made in Germany.
